COLORS:
If you are customizing an order to match a specific color, be as detailed as you can with the explanation of the color you want. For example, "blue and grey" is too vague. There are many shades of blue and gray. Saying, "dark navy blue and charcoal grey" is a much more accurate description. If you are ordering for a particular sports team, just tell me the team and I can look the colors up. One of the best descriptions that I've heard so far is, "pink like pepto bismol."
SIZING:
Not every head is the same size. It is especially hard to get the exact size for a child. My items do have some stretch and give to them, but giving me a general idea of the size I am making guarantees the item will fit. If you can measure the head(s) of the person(s) the items are for, that would be fantastic! Otherwise, giving me their ages will work just as good.
I currently have three sizes of barrettes available:
Large - 4"
Medium -2.5"
Small - 1.5"
I also have combs available, which are 2.75" wide.
EMBELLISHMENTS:
Every embellishment you see on my website is usually still available for custom orders. If you see a particular embellishment you want (ribbons, buttons, sequins, etc.), don't hesitate to ask for it!
The purpose for custom orders is to get you exactly what you want to go with exactly what you need it for. And if you don't see something on my site, just ask! I may already have it and if I don't, I can most likely get it.
